WingBones Whisker Fairings — Flexible 2.4GHz Antenna Protection

Bare external antennas get bent, kinked, or broken on landing and when handling/storing your plane. Whisker Fairings enclose and protect the antenna in a flexible elastomer: stiff enough to hold an aerodynamic shape when flying and keep the antenna straight and aimed in flight, springy enough to bend when needed.

Mounts clean, from the inside

The fairing reaches through the fuselage skin and bonds to the inner wall with a built-in tab, so every drop of adhesive stays hidden inside. Nothing shows on the outside but the smooth 23mm profile — no glue lines, no haze. For antennas with a cylindrical base like the JR DMSS, it captures that cylinder inside the plane and holds it in line with the external whisker — a fit that's maddening to get right any other way. We haven't found another fairing that protects the whole antenna, inside and out.

Compatibility

Fits 2.4GHz systems including JR DMSS, Jeti, Futaba, FrSky, and Spektrum. External fairing length is 23mm; the included heat shrink covers any antenna that extends beyond it. The fairing captures cylindrical antenna bases up to 3mm in diameter, and the heat shrink shims smaller bases for a snug fit — antennas with cylindrical bases larger than 3mm in diameter are not compatible.
